AeroGuard gives you real-time transparency and assurance of the quality of your indoor air. It has a wide range of sensors, monitoring eleven pollutants and climate factors. The LED ring enables you to focus on the contaminant most important to you.

Features
  • Monitoring eleven pollutants and climate factors
  • Application and portal for data display
  • Seven calibration settings including custom calibration of dust sensor

Tracking air quality has never been this easy

With the AeroGuard Air Monitor you can monitor your indoor air quality in real-time and be alerted if a climate factor falls behind your desired level. By monitoring your indoor air quality you can ensure that dangerous levels of pollutants are detected quickly, minimizing the negative health effects of air pollution, and take action immediately.

The AeroGuard Air Monitor measures eleven pollutants and climate factors, all combined in just 1 single device. It measures particulate matter (PM1, PM2,5, PM4, PM10), Volatile Organic Compounds (VOC’s), Carbon Dioxide (CO2), Temperature, Humidity, Sound, Atmospheric pressure, and Indoor Air Quality (IAQ). A unique feature of the AeroGuard is that it has, next to factory calibration settings, the opportunity to custom calibrate the dust sensor.

The air monitor includes a free mobile app (available for iOS and Android devices) offering profound insight into your indoor environment. A comprehensive web portal is available for users that want to access even more refreshing data. This way AeroGuard provides with enough clues for you to investigate and eliminate the source of your air quality issues.

Trust your data with custom calibration

Next to default factory calibrations for general, welding and diesel fume dust, the AeroGuard can be custom calibrated for your environment. This unique feature sets the AeroGuard apart. Particulate matter in various applications has different weights. AeroGuard sees the amount of particles and the particle size and converts that to a pre-set weight per cubic meters, applicable to average welding fumes or average diesel fumes. These pre-sets are standard available in each AeroGuard. If your company is taking external air monitoring tests, the AeroGuard can be calibrated based on that data to provide an even more accurate reading of the particle matter in your indoor air.

A true multitasking ninja - Continuously measuring your indoor air

What sets the AeroGuard apart is its intuitive approach to real-time air quality monitoring. At a single glance, you can decipher the air you breathe and get the information you need to make informed decisions. The AeroGuard is equipped with a eleven sensors, monitoring pollutants and climate factors that impact your comfort and well-being.

For everything that is being measured, a default threshold value is determined. If desired, this threshold value can be adjusted in the app or web portal to a level you prefer. If one of the threshold values is exceeded, an alert can be sent to your email or mobile phone.

Optional activation for an external device

Should a threshold value exceed a pre-defined value, AeroGuard can automatically initiate an activation signal to an external system. This signal can, for example, activate your HVAC system or a sound.

Dust Sensor for particulate matter

aeroguard-replaceable-dust-sensor.jpg

Our air monitor measures the presence of particulate matter in μg/m3. This can be e.g. soot particles from the combustion of gasoline or diesel or welding processes in the metalworking industry.

A unique feature of the AeroGuard is that next to default calibrations for general, welding and vehicle exhaust fumes, you have the opportunity to custom calibrate the dust sensor.

The power of this function cannot be under estimated. The large majority of dust sensors are calibrated for general dust. Once used in an industrial environment, like a welding shop, the readings can be off by a factor of 2 to 4. The default factory calibration for welding fume enhances the accuracy already significantly and is a good setting for monitoring, trend lines and deviations. For the highest possible accuracy the AeroGuard can be custom calibrated for your specific environment.

Volatile Organic Components

Volatile organic compounds (VOCs) are gases emitted from a variety of materials that can have short- and long-term health effects. Indoor concentrations of VOCs can be higher than outdoors, especially in workshops where they work with glues, plywood or metalworking fluids. AeroGuard measures the concentration of the Total of Volatile Organic Compounds (TVOC) in mg/m3.

Temperature and humidity

Levels of temperature and humidity are important for the comfort of your employees. AeroGuard measures the temperature in degrees Celsius and degrees Fahrenheit. The humidity is measured in Relative humidity %

Carbon dioxide

If levels of carbon dioxide are too high it can affect people’s cognitive function and decision-making performance. Keeping an eye on this metric is therefore important. AeroGuard visualizes this metric in ppm.

Indoor Air Quality

The German Environment Agency (Umweltbundesamt or UBA) has developed a scale of 1 to 5 for air quality levels. The lower the number, the better the air quality. AeroGuard shows the value in the app.

Atmospheric pressure

AeroGuard shows the atmospheric pressure level in hPa. There can be a difference in pressure between indoor and outdoors. Some people can be susceptible for this change and can experience physical discomfort. But also for businesses keeping an eye on the atmospheric pressure can be of value. When the indoor air pressure is lower than outside, in Summer it can draw in warm air from outside leading to higher costs, as the cooling systems uses more energy to cool the workshop to the desired temperature down again.

Sound pressure level

AeroGuard visualizes the equivalent continuous sound level as LAeq in dB. This enables you to identify possible sound pollution and initiate actions to reduce them, enabling you to make the workshop even more comfortable for your staff to work in.

Strong design, flexible location

aeroguard-in-welding-workshop.jpg

The AeroGuard has an elegant, black design. The air monitor is strong, made of high-quality materials and build to last. It is maintenance-friendly, simple to set up and easy to use.

The AeroGuard Air Monitor is a compact measuring tool that can be mounted on a wall or placed on a surface. For more flexibility you can place the air monitor on a tripod and do readings at various locations in your workshop. If you want to measure various locations over a longer period of time, multiple AeroGuard Air Monitors can be made visible in the AeroGuard App or web portal.

Designed with sustainability in mind

The AeroGuard is designed while keeping a close eye on sustainability. The housing of the air monitor is made from 46% post-consumer recycled plastics. For even more impact the packaging is kept plastic-free.

Monitor from everywhere. Anytime.

Monitor your (work)space with the free iOS or Android App, or dive in deeper with the web portal. The metrics are shown in vivid visuals and colorful graphs for easy interpretation.

Free mobile app

AeroGuard_Product_Mobile_Laptop.jpg

The AeroGuard app is designed to provide real-time information about the quality of the indoor air. The app collects the data of all the sensors, so you can easily monitor the air quality from your mobile or tablet. Within the app, you'll be able to access the gathered data whenever you want, over a period of time. The info can be accessed by a limited number of users. The app is available for iOS and Android.

Powerful web portal

In addition to using the AeroGuard app, the AeroGuard devices can also be monitored through a dedicated web portal. The web portal is easily accessible through standard web browsers on both desktop computers and mobile devices. This web-based platform offers the same comprehensive information as the app, with unrestricted access to a complete repository of historical data, to contextualize the indoor air quality readings.

Via the web portal you can upload a factory map and divide it in different zones. The air monitors in each zone can visualize the indoor air quality in real-time. For larger companies, or companies working in shifts, the web portal is ideal as many more user can access the information. Additionally the web portal offers advanced settings, like checking the lifespan of the dust-sensor.

Useful for all kinds of applications

AeroGuard-in-FireStation_0.jpg

The AeroGuard delivers valuable input in addition to your existing filter system. The information includes measurements of pollutants and climate factors like particulate matter (PM1, PM2,5, PM4, PM10, Volatile Organic Compounds (VOC’s), Carbon Dioxide (CO2), Temperature, Humidity, Sound, Atmospheric pressure, and Indoor Air Quality (IAQ).

Indoor air quality readings are an essential part of facilities maintenance, and maintenance of an HVAC system. This helps to ensure that legal air quality requirements are met in a variety of environments like garages, fire stations, metal workshops, manufacturing facilities and laboratories. Indoor air pollutants can circulate from the workshop or garage, via doors, stairwells and elevator shafts to the offices in the same building. The AeroGuard Air Monitor can make this better visible.

The AeroGuard is especially meaningful inside of industrial production environments, as well as facilities with indoor vehicle exhaust emissions.

LED ring and quality levels

The prominently displayed 360° LED ring allows you to focus on the contaminant that matters most to you. With a simple choice made (e.g. during setup), you are continuously informed by just looking at the LED ring of the AeroGuard. It gives you a quick and easily understandable visual representation of your air quality levels.

  • Green (Good): When the LED ring is green, it indicates that the air quality is within acceptable limits. This typically means that the concentration of pollutants is low, and the air is safe to breathe.
  • Yellow (Moderate): A yellow LED ring suggests moderate air quality. While it might not be harmful to most people, those who are sensitive to air pollution might want to take precautions.
  • Red (Unhealthy): A red LED ring signifies that the air quality has deteriorated and is entering unhealthy levels. People, especially those with respiratory issues, and the elderly, should avoid prolonged exposure.
