Trouble-free operation is provided through the use of a gear motor drive system which allowing maximum lifting capacity to handle any exhaust hose and nozzle. Whether you choose a wall-mounted control unit, pendulum controls or even radio control, the motorised hose reel is easy to use and enables extraction of hazardous exhaust gases.
Efficient exhaust extraction
The heavy-duty design of the MER can cope with any vehicle application. With sufficient power margin it is built to be a reliable performing hose reel you can count on to function whenever you need it. With a number of options you can determine the complexity of your system to suit your budget, always ensuring that the hazardous exhaust gases do not represent a risk for persons in the workshop.
A hose reel alone, won't do much!

Hose Types:
EG2
Hiqh quality fabric composite hose designed for exhaust gas temperatures of 350°F (177°C) continuous. Spike temperature capability: 400°F (205°C). Recommended for areas that service cars and light trucks.
EF2
Hiqh quality fabric composite hose designed for exhaust gas temperatures of 570°F (300°C) continuous. Spike temperature capability: 660°F (350°C). Recommended for areas that service heavy trucks and off-road vehicles.

Hose Mounting Kit:
Kits includes U-clamp, reducer and edge protection.
Up/Down Switch Options:
MER includes a standard control box with up/down buttons. Optionally, you can choose a hanging pendant or wireless remote.
Fan Mounting Kit:
Direct mount fans to hose reels are available: Plymovent fans include FUA- 1800 to 2700 models, selected for the required airflow and static pressure. Not available for MER-1250-200 version. Consult Plymovent or your authorized distributor for details.
Micro Switch MSR-24/2:
Used for fan start/stop and damper operation signal.
Fan Starters:
Allows remote start of fan from hose reel. Choose from SA-24, ES-90, and DCV, including magnetic coil contractors, overload, transformer and fuses. UL/CE CSA Listed.
Motor-driven Damper:
MD-160 or 200: Motorized damper 160 or 200 mm (Ø 6.3 or 8 in.). Power supply 24 VAC.
Transformer TR-24:
Transformer 115/230 to 24 volt to supply motor-driven dampers when no other control equipment is used.
