The challenge

The solution

A customized solution with high-quality Plymovent products was implemented for optimum exhaust gas extraction:

• 8x SER 850 spring operated hose reels for flexible hose routing and space-saving storage.
• (8+8) Internal Grabbers Easily adaptable to various exhaust pipes. The coupler kit allows for the connection of a second Internal Grabber when needed, making it ideal for vehicles with dual exhaust systems. The practical magnetic wall mount enables easy and space-saving storage while allowing for quick installation on magnetic surfaces (e.g., tool carts).
• 8x EH extraction hoses, which impress with their high temperature resistance and durability.
• 1x SAF extraction fan, equipped with a frequency converter to control the extraction volume as required.

The system enables needs-based extraction at the respective workstations. The SER hose reels ensure that the hoses are only unwound when required and are automatically tidied up after use. This minimizes tripping hazards and increases work safety. The SIF 1800 fan automatically adjusts the extraction power to the number of active workstations, thus avoiding unnecessary energy consumption.

Thanks to its unique design, the exhaust hose is secured directly inside the tailpipe, creating a tight connection without the need for external clamps or hooks. This system includes a total of 8 parking spaces. Additionally, the coupler kit allows for the connection of a second Internal Grabber®, making it an ideal solution for vehicles with dual exhaust systems.
