In recognition of the brave men and women who put their lives on the line every day to protect our communities, Plymovent is proud to announce the celebration of Firefighter Appreciation Day on June 14, 2024 at the Plymovent Inc. Mississauga, Ontario office!
Firefighters are the backbone of our community, responding to emergencies with courage, dedication, and selflessness. Whether battling raging wildfires, rescuing individuals from burning buildings, or providing life-saving medical assistance, firefighters are always there when we need them most.
This year, the Plymovent Firefighter Appreciation Day will be marked with a series of events and activities designed to honor and recognize the invaluable contributions of our firefighters. From public ceremonies and tributes to community outreach programs and demonstrations, there will be opportunities for residents to express their gratitude and support for these everyday heroes. Vendors participating include but are not limited to: Crackyl Magazine; Tin Knockers Industrial; Lebert Fitness; Medallion Group Insurance for First Responders; Canadian Safety Equipment Inc.

It is common sense to keep welding fumes in the breathing zone of a welder below a certain limit [1]. Personal protection, source extraction and good general ventilation are the essentials for completing a welding job as safely as possible. Everybody should realise that personal protection is as important if not more so at this time, as Covid-19 (or the “coronavirus”) continues to spread worldwide.
